CATHOLIC MEN'S FELLOWSHIP
“Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.” – Proverbs 27:17
Catholic Men’s Fellowship of St. Louise de Marillac/St. Joan of Arc offers men of the parish the opportunity to share their faith and love for Christ, as Catholic Christian men, through prayer, education, fellowship and service to others.
“Blessed are those who gain wisdom, those who gain understanding” – Proverbs 3:13
We gather in Christ’s presence to learn and foster fellowship by deepening our knowledge of the Catholic faith; sharing our experiences, strengths and hope; and to prayerfully support one another in an atmosphere of trust and confidentiality.
“You see that a man is justified by works and not by faith alone” – James 2:24
The Community Outreach and Volunteer initiative seeks to promote fellowship among all men of the parish by providing volunteer opportunities to those who are seeking to broaden their Catholic faith by serving the needs of others.
“Fathers, do not exasperate you children; instead bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord” – Ephesians 6:4
The Family Enrichment Initiative seeks to establish, promote, and coordinate family enrichment opportunities among the men of CMF and the greater St. Louise/St. Joan of Arc Parish in order to help fathers be more Christ-centered and to awaken and enhance the role of men in creating Christ-centered family life.
“Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually!” 1 Chronicles 16:11
The Spiritual Growth Initiative seeks to provide, promote, and coordinate spiritual growth resources and opportunities that will encourage the men of CMF, as well as all men of the parish, to engage in those habits and activities that facilitate a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and fellow Christians at home, at work and at play.
