This group meets every Tuesday from 9:30-11:00 a.m. in the LeGras Conference Room, September through April. View more information about this Scripture study.
Every Wednesday morning there will be a showing of the 1/2 hour video that features the college professor and theologian Dr. Brant Pitre discussing the Gospel and Old Testament readings of the upcoming Sunday. Anyone interested is invited to attend.
In the event that there is an ongoing Bible study (as there often is during Lent or Advent) the video will be shown after the study session is over (11:30 am). There will be a sign posted on the door with the schedule of the day.
Contact Sarah Wildenhain for more information.
The Thursday Morning Bible Study that meets on Thursdays from 10:00am-12:00pm will be presenting the following as this year’s course: The Scriptural Study of Angels study contains both Entertaining Angels, a study on the good angels, and Angels Throughout the Ages which includes information on many types of angels, including fallen angels (demons), ending with the three Archangels. Some of these sessions cover demons and their evil effects in the world.
All teaching is biblically based from the Catholic perspective. A Scriptural Study of Angels is a 25 lesson study. Entertaining Angels is 10 lessons and Angels throughout the Ages is 15 lessons. Commentary for Entertaining Angels is written by Mike Aquilina; Video Lectures are also presented by Mike Aquilina. Commentary for Angels throughout the Ages is written by Dr. Richard Bulzacchelli, STD and the Video Lectures are presented by Fr. Mitch Pacwa, SJ.

Beginning with the 1st Sunday of Advent, in honor of the Year of Faith, we began a project where, before every Sunday Mass, we heard a brief explanation of the various parts of the Mass. Between December and March, we covered the entire Mass with the hope that by renewing our appreciation of the high point of our week, we may better put into practice the saving mysteries which we celebrate at Holy Mass.
