Mission Statement for the Jubilee Committee:
The one year celebration of the St. Louise de Marillac Parish Jubilee shall be to memorialize the glorious past while anticipating a spiritually guided future.
The enticement of all parishioner families to deepen their involvement and commitment to the church’s work will be accomplished through the efforts of the five groups of parish organizations. The leaders of the spiritual, social, educational, service and athletic groups are intended to provide monthly evidence of this celebration. Their creative ideas and activities will strengthen the community spirit while acting as a reminder of the Jubilee’s meaning by remembering the past, celebrating the present, and anticipating continued growth over the next 50 years.
With the blessing of his Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI and the participation of Bishop David Zubik, the parish will find creative and meaningful ways to come together just as the first 300 families worshiped, constructed and welcomed future generations to make St. Louise what it is today; a vibrant, Christ centered parish family of God.
