Parish Share Program

All 205 parishes in the Diocese are required to participate in Parish Share. This year’s theme for the annual appeal is “Celebrating God’s Gifts”, which challenges us to celebrate our gift of faith and share the blessings God has given us.

By contributing to the Parish Share Program, each of the parishes in the Diocese works together to support Diocesan programs and ministries that benefit all of us. Money raised through the Parish Share Program is used to:

  • Provide Catholic chaplains for hospitals, universities and prisons
  • Educate seminarians and deacons
  • Provide funding for the diocesan Marriage Tribunal and social programs like Catholic Charities, which are utilized by our parishioners on a regular basis

Each parish of the Diocese is assessed 17.6% of its annual income for the Parish Share Program. This year, Saint Louise has been assessed $205,537. If we have not raised that amount by the end of next January, we will have to pay the shortcoming from our general operating fund.

To cover the assessment, we ask that each family pledge $300 to this year’s Parish Share Program. Please note that if we raise any money over the assessed amount, then St. Louise can keep the extra money, tax-free. Other parishes in the area have raised more than their assessed amount, which has allowed them to provide additional programs to their parishioners and those in need. Therefore, we are depending on your support to help us reach our Parish Share assessment for this year.

Payments can be made through Faith Direct or by check after completing the pledge form. You can pay in monthly installments or in full.
