			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-1152" title="Refugee Misions Service Ministry" src="http://stlouisedemarillac.org/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/refugee-mission.jpg" alt="" width="250" height="250" />Our Parish has been engaged in an apostolic outreach to refugees who have been brought to Pittsburgh by Catholic Charities and now reside in Castle Shannon at Alvern Gardens.</p>
<p>The refugee community there is comprised mainly of Bhutanese, Burmese, Russian, Turkish and Iraqi families who have been resettled in the United States because of the persecution they suffer in their homelands. We are in need of people to mentor, provide transportation, organize food and clothing drives, donate furniture, teach ESL and plan social activities.</p>
